Healsville Sanctuary

We arrived in Melbourne airport on Saturday morning at 2am (just over an hour late). Peter came to pick us up from the airport after having made 2 trips in to the city earlier that evening. We drove out to Wandin Yallock which took just over an hour and upon arriving in the darkness
we quickly found our way to be in the Manders Caravan.

Here are a few snaps from our first day out in Australia with Chris at Healsville Animal Sanctuary. Thanks to Chris´s mate, Chris Lacos for the brilliant tour of the park and the behind the scenes access.

    Da ham wir Glück gehabt... bis jetzt haben wir noch keine gesehen.. bzw nicht zu nah :) Aber ich hab heut auch nochmal gehört, dass es Krokodile nur im Norden gibt.. dafür gibt es hier im Süden an Gewässern Tigerschlangen, die wohl am gefährlichsten sind... Also ist wenigstens ausgeglichen mit den Gefahren :P
