Yesterday we had another nice day in Melbourne. We went to see the Old Melbourne Gaol, Melbourne's (or even Australia's ? ) oldest prison, where Ned Kelly was hanged in 1880. It was quite an interesting experience as our tour included a fake arrest while you were being shown around the cell blocks and exercise yards. At the end you could shoot your own mug shots!
Gestern hatten wir wieder einen schönen Tag in Melbourne. Wir haben uns das Old Melbourne Gaol angeschaut, Melbournes (oder auch Australiens ? ) ältestes Gefängnis, in dem 1880 auch Ned Kelly gehängt wurde. Es war ein ziemlich interessantes Erlebnis, weil unsere Tou
r eine vorgetäuschte Verhaftung mit eingeschlossen hat während man uns dann die Gefängniszellen und die Innenhöfe gezeigt hat. Am Ende konnte man sein eigenes Verbrecherfoto schießen!
After that we went to the Melbourne Aquarium. Though we did expect a bit more actually it was still nice to see the different sea creatures. Here is a summary of what we saw:
Anschließend sind wir zum Aquarium gegangen. Obwohl wir etwas mehr erwartet hatten, war es trotzdem schön die verschiedenen Meerestiere zu sehen. Auf dem Bild links ist eine kleine Zusammenfassung was wir gesehen haben.

To get back to the car we caught the free city tram again, which is a historic tram and drives past most of the city's attractions.
Um zum Auto zurück zu kommen, haben wir wieder die historische Straßenbahn genommen, die an den meisten von Melbournes Attraktionen vorbeifährt.
